HOLY GOODNESS ITS HERE
WELL! First off, my Kill Shakespeare piece that was entered into a cover contest won the voting on Facebook, but was not chosen to grace the cover because "facebook votes are gamed" and they used the talented runner up on the cover.. and I was printed as the first pinup in the back of the book! SO here you go!
I am also selling little cellphone charms of these in my store HERE
(there is a choice between 5 different characters)
AND Transmetropolitan tribute art book is being distributed by CBLDF for a donation of 50$! Its totally worth it and all the funds go to supporting various comic book related issues! Grab your own copy HERE!
Everyone who purchases a copy can message me and let me know, I will send you a sketch card of your choice or give you a discount in my store!
STORE UPDATE!
I am finishing up the colors for the rest of the cellphone charms and will be putting out an order so if you would like to preorder a specific design you may do so at my BIG CARTEL SHOP!
I will also be posting glass charm necklaces as well! Keep an eye open!

Atom Eve Results!
Results are in!
SuperHeroOfTheMonth were kind enough to choose me as the winner! It was pretty close, and there were a ton of inspired and fun designs! I really hope more people start contributing!
SO If you read this, I hope you will give it a shot too!
Check it out here! They listed the runner ups and gave everyone a solid critique! I can respect that! :D
As you see below I did both a white and pink version. The white works better and comes off as less off as a bit more mature than a full NEON pink uniform. I think I need to make a pair of her boots.

Re-rendering Atom Eve for Superhero of the Month competition!
Ideally I choose the pink, but its up to you which one you like better as I am a creature of habit and really think they did a wonderful thing with each character- so I modified her costume a bit to reflect Atom Eve's age. I wanted to tone down the use of pink and see how that worked out as she can manipulate things to start a new and white is 'virginal' (despite how we all know that Eve's gotten it on, her power gives her a chance to clean slate, or make things "grow" and change) Did away with the slipper/sailor moon boots, but had to keep the cape (despite it being a hinder during battles and a weak point when trying to flee)! Her logo is different as well, which is a modified nuclear fission illustration, but with little female symbols. (I am always tempted to turn her into a villan! She has so much potential for evil! With great power comes great responsibility!) A few air vents to show some skin. I love the shoes!
Superhero of the month picked the white version, but I posted both for you!
If you like what you see, I would appreciate it if you would go here:

For TeeFury
I found Teefury in December, and since have ordered 3 tee's. I'm gonna take a second to post the pictures of my shirts. They are working out some kinks with their woman shirts as you will see they are a tad inconsistent.
I do, however, recommend this site to EVERYONE. (YES despite the inconsistencies, as these guys rock pretty hard)
They give you a new shirt EVERYDAY for 24 hours, and when that time is up, it is no longer offered. AND the tee's are only 10$! Sometimes they have grab bags (I recently bought a bag of 2, and wish I had ordered 3!) for 6$. Mystery shirts! Neat!
Most of their designs are pop culture influenced with familiar characters like Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Pokemon, Star Wars, tons of comics references, Transformers and more! (I ordered the grab bag in hopes of getting a recently designed HOUSE inspired tee, they also did a Mucha referenced one with Peach from Mario!) They also take tons of different artists and print their work.
So anyway, here are the shirts-
These are brand new out of the bag:
The Snitches shirt is the dimensions I expected, the blue one is not just long, but a tad wider as well and the arms are positioned differently.
Size tags:
Who Watches The Watchmen. The first shirt I ever bought. Despite it being worn and washed (even did it in hot water and tumble dried three times while being inside out. I usually wash my clothes cold and tumble dry on the lowest setting, while inside out.) you can tell that the shirt is quite wide! There doesn't appear to be a taper like its fitted, either. I like mine snug, but I am totally swimming in the shirt and will have to attempt to take it in with my sewing machine. I wonder if it may have even been a mens small, not a womans. The lenth does not bother me so much as the width.. being I have a small waist and a very large chest, so the shirts always end up around my belt line.
The two black shirts- the inconsistencies aren't just one color is sized off, it's seemingly random
Size tags of all 3
Despite all this, I do recommend them. They create wonderfully unique, limited shirts. They print all sorts of good artists. If you ever have problems with your shirts they offer refunds and totally want you to be happy with their end product. I just hope this little blog entree will help them iron out the details! These guys support local artists all over the place and have printed designs of friends, acquaintances and introduced me to wonderful new artists to inspire me- most of all, the quality of the print- they always print wonderfully. I would one day love to contribute to this ever growing, wonderful site. Maybe that will be my next goal! :D

Kill Shakespeare Update
Looks like I've been chosen as one of 5 finalists! They are hosting voting through their facebook, and whom ever garnishes the most "likes" will be published! I am seemingly neck and neck with another entree, but Kill Shakespeare has been using my image on their website to promote the contest!
I am psyched!
Currently I am working on a few things for this weekend. A small show is being erected at my Derby team's wearhouse. Pics to come! In the meantime here is a screen cap of the KS website:

Kill Shakespeare
Another 48 hour piece! From pencils to inks to digital color, I am satisfied with this! If I get chosen as the winner I receive my pice printed on the cover of the 11th issue as well as the Fat Jack's comic shop logo! :D

Transmetropolitan Art Book
A perfect way to start off my new blog.. Here is a 15 hour piece that I completed from scratch in two days, I jumped on board the Transmetropolitan Art Book group with a day and a half to go (during my work week, even, so I drew during my shift hours, came home, inked, scanned, blocked out the colors, slept, worked, left work early and did the colors in about 5 hours time), I was given a chance to choose from a small list of wayward characters from the book and lucked out that one of the three main characters were still left on the list. I chose to do a pinup of both Channon Yarrow, Stripper/body gaurd/Filthy assistant to Spider Jerusalem and a Foglet. In the third trade, Channon's boyfriend makes the change and I felt that would be an interesting way to integrate a character who is made of just nanobots that can materialize themselves into a pink cloud. I love drawing clouds and wifty hair, so this piece kind of fell into place. I draw many influences from Art Neuvo/Alphonse Mucha, Japanese wood block prints and traditional tattoo designs. Each take an intense amount of design skills, utilize a minimal color palet, and are not based around text, but design (using graphic elements, scrolls, and devices to fill in negative space.) I am red green color deficient so using primary colors of Pink and Yellow eased the anxiety of a full colored piece. There are 5 colors utilized- Yellow, pink, purple, blue and green. I use transparent layers to achieve a sense of depth, and had an absolute blast working out the clouds and smoke.
